HP Pelzer, a global automotive industry component manufacturer, is consolidating its production and storage facilities in Ostrava, effectively increasing its space at CTPark Ostrava by almost 6,000 sq m to a total of more than 12,000 sq m. The company provides supplies from Ostrava primarily to Hyundai and KIA. Cushman & Wakefield assisted with the negotiations concerning the lease terms in both the former and the new hall.
“The construction of a new industrial hall in the Ostrava area in itself is good news for the economy of the entire region. The goal of HP Pelzer’s project was to achieve operating savings by means of consolidating industrial space, in effect improving the company’s competitiveness. We succeeded in reinforcing these operating savings with savings negotiated in the lease agreement,” says Jaroslav Kaizr, Head of Cushman & Wakefield’s Industrial Letting Team.
CTPark Ostrava has a total area of approximately 190,000 sq m and can be expanded with more halls. Other occupiers include ITT, Grupo Antolin, Brembo, ABB and others.
