IKEA has leased warehouse spaces including office facilities spanning total area exceeding 4.5 thousand sq m at the VGP Park in Horni Pocernice. IKEA plans to use the space primarily as storage for its Cerny Most store which has marked a growth in sales following expansion. In their search for suitable premises, the Industrial Team at Cushman & Wakefield assisted IKEA in setting up the developer tender.
“We’re really pleased to have been able to assist IKEA in seeking out a property solution for their warehouse needs in the east part of Prague. In this case, time and technical solutions stood out as the key selection criteria, and the unit at the VGP Park Horni Pocernice proved the best match in meeting their needs,” Head of the Industrial Letting Team at Cushman & Wakefield, Jaroslav Kaizr revealed.
“We’re pleased to be able to welcome IKEA Czech Republic once again among the occupiers at our park in Horni Pocernice. Thanks to the great public transport links, accessibility to the city centre, connections to the main transport routes and the options for expanding lease spaces within the VGP Park, the suitability of this park is not restricted to logistics purposes alone, but is working well for wholesale and retail too.
