Nearly 20,000 square meters have been leased in the Pilsen region by the worldwide logistics services company Hellmann. Start of their operations will take place in March this year. Suitable premises were found by specialists from the international industrial team of Cushman & Wakefield.
“As to the size of the leased warehouse, this is a significant transaction and it marks the arrival of a big player in the logistic field. At the same time, it is the largest lease transaction within this sector in 2012,” says Laurent Jechoux, who was involved in the transaction.
“Hellmann enquired about premises in the Pilsen region particularly, because of the proximity and the good transport connections with Germany. Therefore we started a property search identifying the most suitable options where CTPark Bor appeared to be the best candidate; mainly because the park offered sufficient space within the required timing. Indeed, the deadline for moving-in was quite short and it was not possible to wait for the construction of a new hall,” Jechoux adds.
“We would like to thank the team at Cushman & Wakefield for their help during the project. We are extremely pleased a prestigious company like Hellmann recognised the benefits of the CTPark Bor as a major logistics platform for servicing their clients in Germany.” says Paul Deverell, Business Director of CTP.
Founded in 1871, Hellmann is a family-owned company with its roots in Germany. With operations in more than 150 countries and over 10,000 employees, Hellmann is one of the leading companies in the sector.
