Auto-Spa, the trademark for touchless car washing, has recently entered the Czech market. The first car wash will open on 20th December 2012 in the retail park by Tesco in Děčín. The idea to place a car wash directly on the car park in front of the Tesco hypermarket was the brainchild of the Retail Warehouse team at Cushman & Wakefield. The company also secured leasing of the land.
“The idea behind it is about saving customers’ time – while the woman goes shopping, the man can take care of washing his vehicle. The car wash is located directly in the car park in front of the Tesco store, and unlike standard car washes, utilises more sensitive technology, “says Martin Kubín from the Retail Warehouse team at Cushman & Wakefield.
The touch-free car wash adopts more sensitive washing technology based on a special micro-powder. The classic mechanical brush is not applied; hence there is no risk of paintwork being scratched. On top of that, the service is also cheaper – the facility is self-operated and the cost of washing depends on the driver’s experience (customers are charged per-minute). The touch less car wash is also suitable for washing motorcycles and quad bikes for which standard car washes aren’t suitable.
“This is a relatively common service in Western Europe. Whereas several thousand touch less car washes have already been put in place in neighbouring countries, the Czech market is just starting out
Due to the lack of this kind of service and success attributed to projects already underway, we are confident about its potential and are working intensively on expanding to other locations. In 2013 we plan to open a further 20 branches of our own as well as franchises,” says Dorde Sredić, Managing Director at Auto-Spa CZ.
“We care about customer satisfaction, which is why we provide the highest quality level of washing - for the lowest price at Auto Spa,” Sredić adds.
The founder of the service in the Czech Republic is Auto-Spa CZ. The “Auto-Spa” company/ trademark originates from Poland and is the market leader in its field within Central Europe.
