The well known retailer Foot Locker chose Cushman & Wakefield team to assist in the reshaping of their current two retail units in Palladium and OC Chodov and in the opening of two new stores in Prague - Zlatý Anděl and new flagship store in Palace Euro-Astra at the Wenceslas square in the centre of Prague. The all units constitute over 3.000 sq m of the sales area. The realization of all stores in Prague is the continuous cooperation with the global retail occupier Foot Locker which started in Italy.
Besides the Project Managemet team also the High Street Retail team was involved in this project as the exclusive leasing agent appointed by Mint, the owner of the Palace Euro-Astra building at the Wenceslas square. As the result, the Foot Locker took 5 floors (3 floors dedicated to sales) within this iconic building with a total area of 1,500 sq m.
Cushman & Wakefield Project Management team was appointed to run all the 4 stores projects from the concept design phase with full project management responsibility towards achieving the critical timing, cost and quality issues. Cushman & Wakefield took on the project management role and was responsible for liaison with all Foot Locker direct fit-out contractors, IT suppliers and merchandising teams.
The flagship store of Foot Locker has been opened on 2 June 2017 in Palác Euro-Astra at the busiest intersection of Wenceslas square and Na Příkopě Street. It is the largest flagship store opened in Central Europe.
