The main challenge was to find a tenant for a prime corner retail unit at Namesti Svobody in Brno. The landlord of the building presented to us a plan for reconstruction of the facade of the building into a new modern style and asked us to bring a representative tenant for his property.
Cushman &Wakefield prepared a wishlist of top retailers not presented in Brno, but with a potential to expand out of Prague and use this opportunity in the downtown of Brno as a starting point for further expansion. After few weeks of marketing we´ve convinced Nespresso to visit Brno and together with the landlord we´ve made an impressive presentation of the future look of the building. Nespresso totally fell in love with that and we´ve started the discussion finished after 2 months by the lease contract signature.
With respect to the signed contract with Nespresso we´ve convinced also Swarovski to step in and open their second store in Brno (first at high street). Both tenants are very happy with the performance and look of their stores and the landlord is extremely satisfied with representative tenants and market rent achieved.
